Abstract

In a greenhouse experiment, plant dry matter production and uptake of N, P, K, Ca and Mg were greatly improved by liming. Plant contents of N, P and K were reduced by a dilution effect; Ca content was increased in all cases but Mg content was increased only by dolomite, not by limestone or hydrated lime
