Abstract

Sorghum is a major source of food and feed in may warm climate countries of the world. In most parts of the world, sorghum is generally grown under less favourable conditions that the other major food grains such as rice, wheat, maize. Sorghum has a remarkable characteristic of being able to sustain itself during periods of drought and then respond and make useful yield when conditions become more favourable. It also tolerated water logging to a great extent
