Abstract

A derivative of the variety J88 showing interchange trisomy and interchange heterozygosity was obtained. Meiotic studies revealed an extra chromosome and at metaphase I the most frequent configuration was 1V + 1IV + 2II. Pollen fertility was low (35%) and no grains were set on selfing or crossing
