Phosphorus plays a vital role in the nutrition of sorghum plant being a constituent of the cell nucleus it is essential of cell division and the development of meristematic issue. It simulates early root formation and growth of the plant and thus hastens crop maturity Phosphorus affects the setting of the grain and its development
