Abstract
Nine phenotypically diverse varieties of pigeon-pea (Cajnus cajan (L.) Millsp.) were studies for their general and specific combining abilities in a dialler set. The characters studied were plant heigh and width, days to flowering and maturity, 100-seed weight and yield plant.
