Abstract

Chilo zonellus Swinhoe, the jowar stemborer: Atherigonoa Indica Malloch., the stemfly: and the aphids, Aphis maidis Fitch. have become a limiting factor for the economic cultivation of jowar in Rajasthan. Introduction of hybrid and synthetic varieties has served as a nursery for these pests
