Abstract

Pyricularia penniseti on Pennisetum typhoides was effectively controlled by 3 sprays of Phygon-XL [dichlone], Difolatan-80W [captafol], and aureofungin. Dithane M-45 [mancozeb] and Zincop also reduced disease intensity but to a lesser extent. Bordeaux was the least effective and phytotoxic. Griseofulvin and mycostatin were relatively ineffective
