Abstract

In a trial of three varieties of Pennisetum americanum with six nitrogen fertilizer treatments and four and three irrigations in 1973 and 1974 respectively, HB3 had the highest mean grain yield. There were significant variety X nitrogen fertilizer treatments for ear thickness in 1974 and for percentage lodging in 1973
