Abstract
In trials near Delhi, sorghum cv. Swarna and CSH-1 were sown on 5 dates at 7-day intervals beginning 26 June. Average grain yields decreased linearly from 44 hkg/ha for the 1st sowing to 19.4 hkg/ha for the final sowing. The decrease in yield was estimated to be 52.3, 70.8, 105.7 and 123 kg grain/ha per day respectively for each successive sowing made after 26 June.-M.S.M.
