Abstract

Three pathogens, namely Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. ciceris and Fusarium solani, were isolated from infected samples of chickpea obtained from local fields in Himachal Pradesh, India. F. solani was the predominant pathogen for the root rot disease of chickpea, which was found to perpetuate through seed, soil and plant debris.
