Abstract

The opt. rates of N for Panicum miliaceum grown after sugarcane, mustard and wheat were 51.7, 47.3 and 54.4 kg/ha, resp.; yield response/kg N applied at opt. rates was 4.9, 4.9 and 3.9 kg grain, resp. Yields were higher with irrigation scheduled at 70% available soil moisture (ASM) than at 40% ASM
