Abstract
When 18 cultures of 6 P. spp. producing similar symptoms on inoculated sorghum plants were differentiated on morphological, cultural and biochemical grounds, 2 received as P. andropogonis and P. alboprecipitans were identified as P. rubrisubalbicans and P. rubrilineans respectively, and 2 isolated from maize in India as P. rubrilineans
