Abstract

A method is described for the production of dihydrogenated ergot alkaloids, principally dihydroergosine, in yields exceeding 0.5 mg/ml in surface liquid cultures of this pathogen of sorghum from Nigeria.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:A method is described for production of alkaloids by S. sorghi, from sorghum [RAM 48, 1168]
