Abstract

A study on weed control in grain sorghum was undertrken at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi for three years (1968, 1970 and 1971). It was concluded that best method of weed control in sorghum is hand weeding and the second best choice is pre-emergence application of propazine at 0.25 kg a.i./ha coupled with one late weeding to remove grassy weeds on sandy loam s0i1 under Delhi conditions
