Abstract

In a uniformity trial on sandy-loam soil with sorghum cv. MP Chari in 1969, the coefficient of variation decreased with an increase in plot size and with long and narrow plots running E.-W.; block efficiency decreased with increase in block size and E.-W. blocks were less efficient. Confounded designs proved more efficient than non-confounded ones
