Abstract

A significant reduction in yield and its components was found in the F3 of the crosses TX 7078 X Africana blanca [White African], TX7078 X Kaura, TX 7078 X Farafara and TX7078 X Sea Green when compared with the F2. This was considered to be the result of inbreeding depression.
