Abstract

In a trial in the summer wet sesons of 1968-9, sorghum cv. (a) CSH 1, (b) CSH 2 and (c) Swarna were given 0, 50, 100, 150 or 200 kg N/ha. Maximum yield responses of 1.62, 2.0 and 1.64 t grain/ha were obtained with applications of 160, 140 and 140 kg N/ha in (a), (b) and (c), respectively
