Abstract

CSH1, MS2219 X IS3541, Swarna and Siruguppa Neerjola were grown in 1969 and the yields and seven components of yield were recorded. MS2219A X IS3541 gave the highest yields of grain and stover. Its grain yield was associated with higher grain weight and number per ear and with higher threshing percentage. Its stover yield was associated with height and leafiness.
