Abstract

Details are given of the development, botanical characteristics, growth period and pest resistance in the six lines NJMS7 to NJMS12, derived from S. guineese 'T36', S. bicolor 'IS2931' and 'IS84', and S. basutorum 'T19', each crossed with CK60B, the maintainer line of male-sterile CK60A. [See PBA 39, 6786].
