Abstract
Sorghum subglabrescens 'CO12' and 'CO18' and S. durra 'CO11' were treated with X and γ rays, ethyl methanesulphonate (EMS), diethyl sulfate (DES) and N-nitrosoethylurea (NEU) and combined treatments of the above physical and chemical mutagens. The chemical mutagens and combined treatments of chemical and physical mutagens resulted in the production of chlorophyll chimaeras. The greatest frequency of chimaeras was observed in CO18 after treatments with EMS
