Abstract
Four double trisomics (2n + 1 + 1) were obtained from M3 material of γ-irradiated J88 exhibiting chromosome numbers from 17 to 28. The trisomics were shorter and had smaller ears than normal disomics, and three had thinner stems. Cytological examination indicated that the trisomics could be classified as primary double trisomics (two), a primary double trisomic in an interchange heterozygote and an interchange double trisomic. The frequency of trivalents was positively correlated with the length of the extra chromosome in one case. Chiasma frequency was significantly different from that in disomics
