Abstract
Intensive studies have been made on the effect of radiation on pollen and grain sterility of different crops. To assess the amount of sterility caused by radiation, air-dried seeds of yellow seeded (Improved Saoner) and white seeded (Improved Ramlel) sorghum varieties were treated with 10,000; 15,000 ; and 20,000 r units of gamma rays. The field experiment was laid out in n simple randomized block design with three treatments along with untreated control replicated four times.......
