Abstract

Twelve inbred parental lines, eleven single-cross and 18 three-way hybrids were studied. All the single-cross hybrids gave higher yields than the better parent, indicating possible overdominance effects, while the grain yields of most of the three-way hybrids were no higher than those of the single-cross hybrids.
