Abstract
The three characters were studied in the crosses CK60A X JS263, IS3675A X L78 and SGNA X T87. Partial dominance was observed for late flowering and some linkage between recessive alleles. Tallness was dominant in all three crosses and differences of two or three genes between the parents were evident; additive gene action and interaction were important in all three crosses. Stem girth was controlled predominantly by additive gene action with partial dominance of thick stem.
