Abstract

Sorghum, 5 samples each of cv. C. Hara and normal NK 121 grain, had crude protein 17.1 and 9.6, true protein 16.5 and 9.4, digestible protein 14.7 and 7.8, biologically utilizable protein 8.7 and 4.9%, chemical score 22 and 29, biological value 52 and 57, essential amino acid index 60 and 64 and protein balance index 0.24 and 0.41, respectively.
