Abstract

In trials in 1968-70 under rain-fed conditions, the new S. italica cv. Co 4 gave grain yields of 1.99 t/ha, compared with 1.56 t for the standard cv. Co 1. Co 4 matures in 77 days while other standard cultivars mature in 90-97 days
