Abstract

Pea pod borer, Etiella zinckenella (Treitschke) (Lepidoptera: Phycitidae) is a cosmopolitan species and is know to damage a large varierty of leguminous crops. In India, it is one of the commonly available borer pests of winter pulse crops. It has been reported from different parts of India and causes damage to various pulses and sunnhempt (Fletcher, 1914; Mitra, 1944; Singh and Sohi, 1957, Sandhu and Verma, 1968).
