Abstract

An experiment comprising five hyrbids of grain sorghum and five levels of N was conducted under irrigated conditions in rainy (July-October) seasons of 1972 and 1973 on sandy loam soils. On an average, CSH 5 and CSH 3 yielded 18 and 16 per cent more grain than CSH 1 (22.5 q/ha), and 39 and 37 per cent more than CSH 4 (19.1 q/ha), respectively...
