Abstract
In trials in 1969-70 to study the response of irrigated sorghum to applied N in Tamil Nadu, the opt. N rate was 130.7 kg/ha with a grain yield response of 13.64 kg/kg N in 1970 and 84 kg with a response of 6.44 kg in 1969
