Abstract

The effects of intercropping with safflower, gram [Cicer arietinum] and rabi cotton on yields of rabi sorghum were studied at Solapur. Grain yields of sorghum were reduced, by 38, 67 and 18% by gram, safflower and cotton, resp. compared with sorghum alone. Safflower also reduced sorghum fodder yields by 43% but cotton and gram had no significant effects on fodder production
