Abstract

In trials with E. coracana, application of 2.24 kg Ansar-529 [MSMA] a.e., 2.24 kg Stam F-34 [propanil] a.e. or 1.5 kg MCPA a.e./ha 15 days after transplanting was effective against weeds and resulted in grain yields of 1.51, 3.04 and 1.68 t/ha, respectively, compared with 2.02 t/ha with 2 hand-weedings (conventional practice) and 1.06 t/ha without weed control, indicating that Stam F-34 was the most suitable herbicide for E. coracana
