Abstract

Grain and dry fodder yields were higher in sorghum cv. T4 than in hybrid CSH-1 grown under rainfed conditions in 1971-2. Yields with 150 kg applied N/ha were slightly higher than with 75 kg N/ha. Yields of CSH-1 increased with increasing density from 90 000 to 270 000 plants/ha, while T4 gave highest yields at 180 000 plants/ha
