Abstract
Jowar is main crop of Vidarbha region in Maharashtra State. It is observed that farmers did not adopt the high yielding varieties of hybrid jowar to a desired extent. Very few farmers used the package of practices recommended for these varieties in toto. Large number of them contented themselves with the partial adoption of package of practices. It was therefore, thought worth while to see the farmers' knowlodge about the package of practices of hybrid jowar and to see if it has any effect on their adoption
