Abstract

In a trial under rain-fed conditions with 13 sorghum hybrids and a local cv. given 80 kg N + 40 kg P2O5/ha, hybrid SHP-57 gave the highest grain yield of 3.57 t/ha, followed by SHP-24 with 3.32 t; the local cv. Mau T.1 gave the lowest yield of 0.68 t/ha. The 2 hybrids matured in 95 days and the local cv. in 121 days
