Abstract

In trials with 2 cv. and 1 hybrid of bajra [Pennisetum typhoides [Pennisetum glaucum]], increasing the rates of applied N from 0 to 200 kg/ha produced linear increases in grain yields from 0.82 to 3.56 t/ha in hybrid HB-1 and from 0.49 to 3.0 t/ha in cv. J.88. Cv. R.S.K. gave the highest yields (2.2 t/ha) with 160 kg N/ha. MSM
