Abstract

A line X tester study was conducted with 17 inbreds of pearl millet [pennisetum typhoides (Burm.f.) Stapf &C.E. Hubb] of both Indian and African origin with both with three varieties of wide plasticity as tester indicated that the additive variance was more than non-additive variance for the majority of characters including grain yield
