Abstract

Eleven male-fertility restorer lines were used as male parents of single-cross and three-way hybrids. Additive and dominance effects were important for grain yield, grains per head and 100-grain weight, additive effects being more important for the two latter characters. Additive effects alone were important for heads per plant. There were strong genotypic and phenotypic correlations between grain yield and seeds per head
