Abstract
The concept of comblntng ability is important in plant as it provides the means of understanding the nature of gene action for yield and related characters and helps in devising suitable breeding procedures. Development of hybrids/varieties of jowar suitable for both kharlf and rabi seasons will be advantageous. Therefore, the present work was undertaken to study the combining bility of the kharif and rabi types in hybrid combinations
