Abstract
Sorghum hybrid HB3 was sown at 30 X 30, 45 X 20, 90 X 10 or 60 X 15 cm and was given 0, 50 or 100 kg N/ha. Spacing had no effect on grain and straw yields. Grain yields were increased from 0.95 t/ha with no N to 2.59 t with 50 kg N/ha, but were not further increased by 100 kg N/ha. Straw yields were increased from 2.65 t/ha with no N to 8.01 t with 100 kg N/ha
