Abstract
When one thinks of witchweed there springs naturally to one's mind the importance of the common mealie witchweed (Striga asiatica (L.) 0. Ktze) to the Rhodesian mize growing industry. There are however a number of other flowering parasites related to the mealie witchweed, which are less well known, but which may be growing in importance in this part of the world...
