Abstract

The correlation was observed considering green stalk yield as a main contributing character in 46 genotypes of sweet sorghum. Analysis revealed that green stalk yield exhibited highly significant and positive correlations at genotypic and phenotypic levels with plant height, number of internodes, stem girth and juice extraction per cent which indicated that selection for these traits would lead to an improvement in green stalk yield in sweet sorghum.
