Abstract

A diallel cross involving ten inbred lines showed considerable heterosis for contents of chlorophyll a and b. Nonadditive genetic variance influenced chlorophyll a content; chlorophyll b content was affected by environmental influences. Broad-sense heritability was high for the former and low for the latter
