Abstract

In trials with 30 pearl millet cv., fresh fodder yield was positively correlated with DM yield and was negatively correlated with days to flowering. Path analysis showed that DM yield, leaf length and tillers/plant had a direct effect on fresh fodder yields. Plant ht., fresh fodder yield, stem girth and leaves/plant had a direct effect on DM yield
