Abstract

The effectiveness of seed treatments with 6 insecticides at various concentrations for the control of Tribolium castaneum (Hbst.) infesting stored sorghum grain was evaluated in laboratory tests in India. Test exposures of adult beetles to treated grain immediately, and 3 and 6 months after treatment, showed that malathion at a concentration of 25 p.p.m. was the best treatment
