Abstract
A study was carried out in Haryana, India, to determine whether the amino acid contents of sorghum lines could be correlated with their level of resistance to attack by Atherigona soccata Rond. and Chilo partellus (Swinh.). All of the 17 amino acids evaluated were present in both the susceptible and resistant lines, but the quantities of the acids were greater in the resistant lines than in the susceptible ones
