Abstract
The resistance of 43 lines of sorghum to Atherigona soccata Rond. was evaluated in field-plot tests in Pune, India, in the rabi season of 1978. On the basis of percentage of dead-hearts, 15 of the lines were classed as 'promising toward resistance'; of these, the 3 check lines Improved Saoner, GM-2-3-1 and IS-3922 (405) had no dead-hearts
