Abstract

Studies of crosses between the S6 inbreds 444 and 579 of Pennisetum typhoides indicated that the presence of bristles, purple bristle colour and semicompact ears were each controlled by single genes and were dominant over absence of bristles, white bristles and compact ear, respectively
