Abstract

The effect of different seeding rates (2 and 5kg du), row spacing (17.5 and 35 cm0 and seeding treatments on pearl millet were investigated. Seeding rate and row width had no effect on the yield of dry forage cut 44 days after emergence. In all treatments maximum rate of growth within this period was reached at Leaf area Index 5-6..........
