Abstract

Sorghum, the ,Camel' crop is extensively grown in the rainfed black soil tracts of Southern Districts. Micronutrient. deficiencies especially Zinc and lron commonly occur in Vertisols Since majority of the black soils are calcareous in nature soil application of micronutrients does not have the desired effect. Foliar nutrition under dryland agriculture is also a costly venture. Hence, a field experiment to study the effect of soaking of sorghum seeds..........
