Abstract
Thc third meeting of the Israel Weed Conference took place on 28th-29th February 1960 in the Vicks Auditorium of the Weizrnann Institute of Science at Rchovot. An audiencc of 500 participants, all involved in various aspects of weed science, gathered to listen to, and to discuss, the forty-five papers presented. A. Schulberg (Chairman, I.W.C.) opened the conference. Palti (Plant Protection Extension Servicc) and G. Cohen (Department of Plant Protection) greetcd tlie conference on behalf of the Minirrtry d Agriculture. As in previous years there were on thc agenda biological and general herbicide............
